Sorry to hear that. I did not pass the assessment either and I thought that I did really well on the games. I think it might be the personality test that got me. I am afraid that there is no way to prepare for a personality test other than to be honest and know the type of person you are. I have heard that Delta has been re inviting people after the six month period for the retest. So keep an eye out for that. Good luck!

Are you flying for a Delta Connection Regional?

Because the issue is, they need to be able to upgrade their FOs to CA in order for the regional feed to survive. If you have 1300 hrs of 121 TPIC, that means IN THEORY you allowed 1.3 FOs to become upgrade eligible, but the COVID reality is something different. A lot of non-upgradeable (less than 1000 hrs SIC) people went ACMI or ULCC. Those 121 SIC hours were lost to the regional world. A lot of regional CA’s with LESS THAN 1000 hrs TPIC have been hired by majors. Someone has to pick up the slack for them. They need to be replaced too.

Right now most regionals are in a death spiral for CAs, which is why many regionals are offering hefty bonuses for DECs and near DECs, longevity credit for 121 time at other regionals, even base of choice for DEC in the case of Skywest. Legacies are metering flow (or whatever they chose to call their flavor of flow) because otherwise they are destroying their own feed. It isn’t just Delta, they all seem to be doing it. The quick route to the legacies seems to be to apply to the legacies you DON’T support, or do a touch and go at a ULCC.

If you are a regional CA supporting any legacy right now they’d seem to prefer you stay right where you are while they rob CAs from a competitors regional. It isn’t personal, just business.

Affirmative. Reviewed, prepped, the whole thing. Got CJOs from two other legacies.

I'm with United Express. I agree with everything you said. I was supposed to go to UA through Aviate last month, but it will probably take a lot longer given the current captain/LCA situation.

Wow, nicely done!

Forgot about the volunteering. I'm an ALPA safety chairperson, pilot mentor, and other things outside of work (e.g. volunteer pilot/instructor for conservation in Africa, etc). I don't get it 🥲

i have 2700TT, little TPIC, currently flying heavy international cargo. I got the assessment last week after going to WAI the week prior. Have you considered meeting with delta recruiters in person? They have the event at the delta museum on may 2/3. The recruiter at women in aviation told me your app gets a guaranteed scoring after meeting with them in person. Travel/hotel costs a bit but worth it if you want to be at delta, in my opinion. Good luck!

Default Meet and Greet

Has anyone attended any of Delta's recent Meet and Greets? Trying to get an idea of what to expect for the one coming up in May. Is it fairly informal and short, or is it more like a mini-interview (couple HR questions and a resume review)? Thanks in advance!

Sign up for the DAL JobFair, they still have spots open. In find it funny that they still have some, 3yrs ago they would “sold out” in 2-3 minutes.

good luck!
