From reading on here it appears that a CJO is good for 6 months, and that usually it takes 4 weeks to schedule an interview and 11 weeks from the interview/CJO to start INDOC. I just received the Delta Online Assessment invite. I'm about to start training with Spirit and as much as I would like to work for Delta, studying for an interview while doing training seems like a recipe for failure. I've also heard of people leaving training for interviews, but I would not want to do that for various reasons. I did not see this question answered elsewhere on the forums, so apologize if I missed it somewhere.

I think if you withdrew from training to join another airline like Delta, it wouldn’t be a big deal.

I hear that it goes on your PRIA/PRD record that you left while in training; training incomplete or unsat something like that.

I also heard that if you leave BEFORE sim training it would NOT be a negative mark on your record. Can someone confirm the validity of this?

THANKS
I don’t know exactly what CISIVE looks at, but Delta would’ve already seen your official/unopened transcript prior to handing out the CJO. Not sure what else they could be looking to discover…

I had some that left training at Spirit, JB, and Alaska in my indoc class. If you are honest on your resume and during your interview, you'll be fine.

Just another data point for reference - I was an early May interview, and was told to expect no earlier than August for class.

i was practicing on pilotest.com and many of the test are ridiculously hard. Is it that hard on the actual assesment or those websites train you hard so you can pass the real assesment?
whats the best test prep.
i have seen these 2 on this forum http://AirlineAssessmentPrep.com

Airlineassessmentprep.com on medium is pretty close. If you can do hard, even better. For the personality part just don't over think it. No real way to prep for that.

Has anybody heard anything about getting CJO holders over from DCI carriers? The way these guys/gals are being treated after their interview is disgusting.

I was in the exact same boat as you, was able to move the interview up into the week at home for systems training at Spirit. Then was able to fully focus on the rest of the type rating. Left after I was officially assigned my class date. I contemplated leaving early but by the time my class was confirmed I was at my checkride anyways. I had about three weeks notice to prep for the interview and that worked okay during the evening after class.

I had some classmates in similar situations who decided to wait until the end of training and they just explain it to Delta and with the delays to schedule interviews, you may not even have to worry about an interview interfering with your schedule.
