Good question. Thanks for the reply! The only blip is that I failed my last T-38 checkride all the way back in 2000, re-accomplished it very next day w/ zero downgrades and UPT complete. Nothing for the last 23 years. The only thing I can think of is that I initially filled out the app on airline apps a few years ago, but dropped it because I had an immediate job offer, and seeing that the majors (pre-COVID) were not to keen on somebody having not flown the last 2 years, I went another direction for currency and recency. Maybe because I stopped the app and quit updating until recently that my app was sent into some purgatory folder never to see the light of day. I've asked numerous companies and smart folks about that one UPT checkride failure ages ago and overwhelmingly they said it "should" not be a factor at all. Who knows.

The Renaissance has a dedicated shuttle that will take you to the main entrance of Delta HQ.

The MMPI is taken as part of the in-person interview process. If you are offered a CJO you’ll be scheduled to chat with a psychiatrist later in the day and your MMPI results will be evaluated as part of that.

Thanks for the into! What is the psych interview like, or is it like the MMPI where you shouldn’t give it any thought ahead of time and just be honest?

It is still part of the interview process even post CJO. Questions I had were around family, school, upbringing, but I've heard some people get asked about their drinking habits. They also review your MMPI to ask about pressure points revealed from that. Mine centered around worst experience in aviation I witnessed and scariest non-aviation experience and how did I processed it. Start to end as 15 minutes. Some people in my group went longer.

But I doubt they care about enlisted evals if you got a commission later... safe to assume you weren't an NJP frequent flyer.

Wherever you choose to stay, make sure it’s somewhere that’s easily walkable to HQ. I made the mistake of staying at the Fairfield which is walkable but much further. Was waiting for the shuttle that ran late and ended up having to hoof it over there and barely made it on time. Punctuality is very important for the interview. My advice is to pay a bit extra for the Hilton or one of the adjacent hotels. Not worth saving a few bucks if it potentially means arriving late.

My interview was broken into 3 groups. Group 2 took the MMPI while group 1 took the panel interview and group 3 waited. Then after a short break group 2 took the panel and I believe groups 1 and 3 took the MMPI. After lunch all of groups 1 & 2 knew if they had the CJO, while group 3 did the panel interview.

Does anyone know if I can apply without an Airman Certificate number?
I'll explain! I just converted my Canadian ATPL and received a temporary Airman Certificate but I will not have the Airman Certificate number until they send me the card in the mail (2-3 months). I do meet all the other hiring requirements.
Should I just wait to apply? Thanks!
