There are other ways to accomplish a college education that don't include extreme amounts of debt or paying $100k per head. Those people should look into them.
Agree. It isn't like that expense sneaks up on you. It's easier to plan for than car repairs, house repairs or even retirement. You know the exact date of the expense 18 years in advance. Dropping a few grand in a 529 then adding a couple hundred a month is all it takes. Military, scholarships or God forbid, working during college are all great options if you start saving late.

Seems heavily over staffed. At least when compared to NYC 320A in February.

You mean take control of your financial life and control your own destiny rather than complain everyday day about lack of days off and bad QOL? Nonsense!

a quick schedule check would result in a “someone is being loose with the facts” result.

I count 6 blue days. Or was that comment aimed at what trip said?

I did that exact thing the 529 was a savior for me, it survived a divorce and bankruptcy, almost completely paid for daughters school (she has a year and a half to go)

Back to the original topic the rotations are terrible in my option, I live in base and I don’t mind working but a 4-5 day trip is exhausting when you have multiple legs with short overnights.
The 320 got bad now I see the same trend on the ER.
The company is in melt down and we are expected to step up and fix it?
Then “give”?

Not how I see it at all.

And now that the first PCS run for February is done…0 blue days. I’m not suprised but whatever world trip was living in is absolutely not the case today.

You don't NEED blue days to drop or swap trips. It makes it easier, sure. But there are many mechanisms you can use to improve your schedule with zero days blue.
