I'm sure you guys would have heard through the rumor mill by now if he actually had been fired. Has he?

I'm betting he gets a suspension and sensitivity training. ALPA gets the suspension overturned in the grievance process. The media has already forgotten about this and the twitter SJWs have moved onto their next victim. The pressure is off Delta to be woke on this issue and terminating a pilot is an extremely costly and time intensive endeavor.
I know it’s crap. I thought it was a funny “heard it from a friend who, heard it from a friend who” moment and back on topic at least.

Edit: Not saying the act itself is funny in any way.

I’m betting you’re wrong and he either is or gets fired. Zero room for lack of trust on the crew and this guy immediately loses all credibility of safety and trust. My field of ***** is barren with sympathy for people like this, I don’t care how much he pays in dues a year. Not only would I refuse any assignment with this clown, I’ll join the “if it was my daughter” crowd and commit to doxxing him everywhere and make sure every female employee knew who he was.

✌🏼

I hope you never serve as a union rep. Sometimes you're a criminal defense attorney. I believe only the most blatant offenses, or repeat offenses merit termination (drugs/alcohol, large theft, intentional safety violations, repeat HR issues) and this, while really bad, doesn't rise to that level.

In terms of following and doxxing him everywhere, is stalking a creep less creepy than the creeper?

If compromising the trust and safety of your crew doesn’t rise to the level of your termination standards, I’m afraid I don’t know what will. Plenty of people have shown up drunk to work and kept their jobs, yet you claim that’s a terminating event. It’s not, almost in every circumstance as the union has saved a ton of jobs for that very offense.

I’ve done my union time in pro stands in my former life. If I have significant gripes or opinions on things, I run those through appropriate channels instead of airing meaningless grievances on the internet. It is my opinion and solely mine I think there should be no coming back from this for him. Sorry, no amount of union red tape should save him.
