*The deadheads were the problem. They kept delaying and messing the schedule up. Wonder if 30 hours would’ve been smarter.

Of course they are smarter but some bean counter is trying to reinvent the wheel. They'd rather have DH credit and eat 2 seats than worry about the min day pay penalty or credit penalty

We are 1/3 months done with summer. Keep counting those chickens before they hatch.

And I wouldn’t call last week a roaring success. United took the heat off everybody else.

What a low bar for 'success' we have now too. Last time I looked we had ~98.5% completion factor and our on time was in the 50s. If I paid a significant premium for my tickets I would be none too happy with that.

But we are #1 for on time arrivals with our 50ish % rate!

We are a good ways into Summer Ops and the heavily predicted Delta operational meltdown predicted by many pilots on here actually went to United. Surprising as we approach mid summer, the hot topic isn't operations but is.... wait for it.... Batch Sizes.... Talk about 1st world problems 😂😂😂😂

Pffff.....

Stop it.

The only reason it isn't "melting down" (according to you) is due to reroutes, green slips, and inverse assignements..... Plenty of #4 and 5 GS's going out. I've already seen a number 2 for the July bid month, and we are only two days in. My phone has been receiving multiple inverse assignment calls most every night/early morning.

But you're right..... SUCCESS!!!

Why can’t Deltanet have an American flag or red white and blue colors. Not trying to pick on Pride month, but I contend the 4th is just as important, and they had that flag for a whole month. It’s silly, but some of us notice these things and care. If it’s just me I will be quiet.

Aren't Delta colors literally red, white and blue?

Hahaha. Yeah when I wrote it I chuckled. But you get the point. I feel like the 4th should be celebrated like lots of other things. This ain’t an argument against having other things. Not trying to make it like that.

I think that's a fair criticism. We'll see if we get an email blast today.

To be fair, though, I didn't know they had a permanent Pride banner all month

Spend time with your family. Fire up the grill. Watch a movie. Grab a cerveza or two. There are a MILLION things better to do on this holiday than wonder about the colors on DeltaNet. YMMV.

HAPPY 4TH Everyone! And enjoy the Holiday Pay for those of us working
