Glad to see the bill to raise retirement age has finally been introduced. Time to remove one of the last bastions of open discrimination in this country and restore freedom to this industry.

It will apply to them too. They have their whole career to earn, unlike us who had our pension given away by DALPA, took a 40 to 70% pay cut, and got furloughed.
Oh and btw…contract leverage is gone for 2 yrs. |

You also had your whole career to earn. 2 more yrs making top dollar is only getting you closer to the grave and still won’t be enough money for the lifestyle.

This super-sized sense of entitlement annoyed the others and the sheer enormity of their luxury RV's was much envied. The owners never accounted for their pull-outs when figuring their floor space. None the less, they mostly *****ed and complained about theirs being too small. When times got tough and the camp ground shrank, some of the senior campers wanted to sell off the belongings of the soon-to-be homeless to add a helipad. Helipads are nice, but to some, this seemed a bit greedy. You might say that the rest were not happy campers. https://assets.newatlas.com/dims4/de...oncepts-40.jpg |

Maybe because the age 65 rule is legal discrimination. Scoop  |

I can't believe pilots actually want to keep working till 65, much less to 67. I'd say some very poor financial decisions have been made or a couple of divorces (or they just love to fly). I'm thankful I don't have to work that long; I don't think I could do it.

If someone were to finish training on a new airplane on the 28th of a month, when does the new pay rate show up on the paystub?
Asking for a friend’s wife….. |
