SUBSTANTIVE:
adjective
/ˈsəbstən(t)iv,səbˈstan(t)iv/
  1. having a firm basis in reality and therefore important, meaningful, or considerable.
"there is no substantive evidence for the efficacy of these drugs" lack of staffing or fatiguing rotations.

(Yes, that is sarcasm, just in case it wasn't clear enough)
(Perhaps irony too)

That someone is right. There won’t be much of an increase.

That’s because the NB fleets are already maxed out. The optimizer has squeezed all the blood out of the NB stone.

Is it too late to bring the Tristar out of retirement?

Sooo....

Yesterday:

Delta had more cancellations that United, American, Southwest, Alaska, and Spirit combined.

Today:

Delta has more cancellations than United, American, Southwest, Alaska, and Spirit combined.

Tomorrow:

Anyone want to bet $20? I know who i'm putting my money on to come in first.

Yes, but context is important. It’s not due to staffing, because we’re properly staffed for the summer!!!

It’s a little misleading as the JetBlue numbers weren’t part of the cherry picking.

(Nothing against JB, but their cancellations have been a slow train wreck for months)

We could also be short FA's, gate agents, rampers and Mechs - how much would age 67 help that? How about we let 65 year old Pilots come back as FA's?

We know we are short Pilots but we are probably short everywhere, except for VPs and above of course.

My guess is we're short all of the above because management thinks barebones staffing equals "properly staffed".

Pretty obvious why. We are halfway to the next leap year.
