There is nothing at all wrong with a union lanyard on probation.

I have the highlights from the Master Chairman, along with an EXCELLENT Engage podcast addressing the agreement. As you know I'm a student of data, and right now the data I have from Union leadership sounds very promising. I expect the language to follow suit

Did new hire CPO interview and flown with all types of captains. Not a word about my scope lanyard.

On a personal level, I’d rather wear something else, but I think it’s important. I have had the chance to explain it to passengers and to other employees from a clear eyed, honest pilot perspective.

We all have the highlights e-mail and podcast. I'm optimistic with a healthy dose of restraint and will openly advocate for scope (lanyard) until we have an acceptable agreement that passes memrat. Keep racing until you cross the finish line!

I think our current contract lanyard is terrible. Too wordy and with way too much going on pattern wise to give a clear message. (4 different statements…really?)

I still wear it though.

We do? Thought we had an AIP. Once it passes MEMRAT then it might be time for a new lanyard....until they violate it again, of course. 😁

It's not my favorite but I've had more people stop and ask what it says and why than any other lanyard I've worn. It shows unity and also has encouraged dialogue

when I was hired (pre Covid) the union told us the (at the time yellow) contract lanyard was a no go for us while we were on probation, I assume that applies to the blue and red one as well.

I met some new hires that wore the yellow one. Never came up according to them.
