I like it because it keeps track of on time departures and arrivals. It's just interesting to see the data overtime, but totally unnecessary.

As for after, it takes two seconds to create a new flight entry and add your times. Prefill before departure and all you have is your IN time after you land.
Both out and In times, you mean. Or are you keeping up with every leg as it happens?? Way too much work, IMO.

The company’s computer (DBMS) will catch FAR violations, and you won’t be flying that much here anyway, unless you are just a glutton for punishment. Put that part of the regional mindset behind you.

I import after by copy/pasting the entire rotation after it’s done. All I have to do is change 2 of the importer’s fields to be “Out/In” instead of “Scheduled out/in”. Takes 2 seconds total for everything. Frankly, I don’t really know why I keep track anymore anyway.

Do what you want, of course. I just think doing it before is a waste of time, and takes a lot more labor to update out/in times for every leg of a rotation, than to import the whole thing after.

When you do it after do you have a way of showing both scheduled and actual times?

Not that I know of, other than manually. But then again, I could care less about that personally. Isn’t there a new customer tool on Deltanet would give you that information?

micrew shows scheduled times which is nice when you are curious what time you start making additional dollars because gates are full, jet bridge drivers are unavailable, or there is no explainable reason why they haven’t opened the door yet.

Here's a way external (to DL) website to convert your PAS to a format suitable for import into Logbook Pro. I've tried it and it works well. Delta Pilots Logbook Pro Conversion

Written by the guy who did Online Per Diem - Home - Per Diem website, which is a way to get taxable info (not really used anymore) for your taxes.
