I would start by looking at the monthly bid results around you seniority on the wide report and the monthly reward.
BTW...I'm not trying to be dense, maybe I missed what the news words mean

There's a reserve line and a regular line. This isn't new terminology

Go to the wides and see what junior reserve guys are getting assigned, then go peak at their end of month schedules in iCrew and see how it turned out. Doing this over multiple months is a great way to get a gauge of the lifestyle. Also, keep tabs on the reserves req/available list.

For decades I have always said AND always heard reserve or line holder or reserve or regular. I'm sorry that I am not as smart as you I tried to acknowledge my possible ignorance...and do so politely.
Additionally I provided the best answer I could.
It seems you were more interested in trying to instigatgate a skirmish as you are wont to do with your list of "disagreeables". Otherwise you would have tried to answer his question.

I don’t know about ATL, but i get reserve about 50% of the time in DTW. If i had stayed on the 320 in ATL I’d be 25% BES. Here I’m about 90%. This is better all around. But that’s just one man’s perspective.
