This x100. The midst of negotiations is not the time for splintering. Let’s get a TA and go from there. The union needs volunteers, get involved.

I do know the couple times I reached out about volunteering some technical expertise (sanity checking things they were claiming about Trainer Refinery and pipelines, I used to be the Regional Chief Engineer for a Refinery and Pipeline service company, Delta was claiming some borderline BS) I was poo pooed after being asked where I live and how long I'd been at Delta.

And change what? Look at APA. They’re an absolute complete and total dumpster fire compared to any ALPA carrier. If you’re not happy with the way things are then go do something about it. Run for an LEC position or get out and campaign/elect someone you support. A union is what YOU make of it.

It’s not the organization. It’s always the people. Changing orgs is idiotic. The people are the ones who either eff things up or don’t show solidarity and don’t vote or represent. Yes. Look at the crap show that’s APA. ALPA is the best org for us. We have to be better at solidarity and at holding our reps accountable. Are you wearing your lanyard. Did you vote. Did you picket? Many factors that many ignore. I guarantee you if we all wore lanyards and many more picketed and we all voted, we’d be in much better shape. Prove me wrong…
