"Lackey"..you are hilarious.
You can find lots of posts here with me calling out the company.
I just like pointing out when people make outrages comparisons. When have we (mainline) ever pattern bargained off the regionals. We might as well be comparing Volkswagens to Watermellons.
Does DL compare it financials to Cape Air? I mean they both fly airplanes and both have pilot payrolls.

Whoa pardner.... put the the "friendly fire" arrows back in thine quiver. Thought my smiley face and "malarkey" would be indicative of my agreement of your point. I still think you are on to something after the corrected num's.
BTW....I suspected you would get some fratricide....looks like some are more interested in name calling than addressing real issues. Take cover,

Well, I guess my point is.... when you(one) think's an 88% raise on top of ALL the other QOL life improvements that are more important than money(so I've been told).....somewhere the question needs to be answered....is it even close to a possibility?
Yes accuracy is important, but somewhere the rubber meets the road and reasonableness has to be addressed. JMHO
BTW....my point was an amalgamation of several posters, I Just happened to grab yours. Not a slap at you personally but even your more accurate numbers seem a bridge too far for an 88% raise Again, just 1 opinion.

DWC is an insightful poster, and as he said just transposed the numbers from total payroll, but I wanted to catch the mistake before we started arguing about our 12B/ year cost.

I’ll agree an 88% raise DOS is a bridge too far, my point was simply to correct the numbers. We absolutely need to keep up with inflation but there is a huge difference between that and the % the regionals got.

The arrows make me think of the Monty Python scene: "Message for you Sir!"

This association is weak! Terrible communication taken from the 1980's.
Why isn't the MEC on SM everyday with information on the meeting (nothing specific). Who is there for the company? Tone of the meeting.
Quick updates on what the MEC is doing. Be held accountable to all of us paying due members?
Using SM leverage to make a case for the 15000 pilots. Over 8000 have been hired in the last 8 years. All capable of accessing all SM platforms.
The podcast are great but they tend to be 2 to 3 weeks behind.
Why not a Q&A live from the hotel?
Maybe I'm way off but they can do better then sending an email once a week.
