I’m thinking if the AIP vote was really 9-8 along the same lines as the MEC chair vote, then the 9 should wait to release the AIP language until after the 12/14 C66 meeting. That’s when MC’s recall is on the agenda.

Wait there's an AIP vote? I thought the NC concludes negotiations with an AIP then craft the language into a TA which is then presented at an MEC Meeting which concludes with a vote whether to send to MEMRAT

I’m actually not sure of the mechanics that it takes to get to an AIP. The hot rumor of the day is there is an AIP and that there was a 9-8 vote. I took that rumor and lack of information and ya da ya da ya da conspiracy theory.

really don’t know why there’d be a lag between AIP and TA in this environment - I mean they’ve been at it for awhile, narrowed the open issues and had all the players in RDU the last week to discuss. Either it should be a TA or not - shouldn’t need another meeting to discuss.

Where's the negotiator's notepad? Seriously, haven't they been writing this as they've been negotiating? At least come out and say we've come to an agreement, more details to follow.

I can’t believe we are still in the dark after three days of meetings! They must see all of the rumors/fights/arguments going on the last couple days. It’ll probably be Monday before we hear anything at this point

AIP isn't a real thing.

The hierarchy:

Pilot Working Agreement
Tentative agreement
agreement in principle
conceptual agreement
areas of mutual concurrence
kinda "like" an understanding
some stuff we agree we could agree on
