If you are drinking airplane coffee, you’re doing it wrong. Starbucks and Dunkin’ apps to early order.

This is yet another 717 bonus. Concourse C in ATL, pretty much headquarters for the 717, has 2/4 of the Starbucks in the airport. C Also has God’s Chicken. Since everything goes through ATL, there is always time for a coffee.

The antidote to glycol poisoning is ethyl alcohol. The post day drink is medicinal.

In Jan and Feb, bidding reserve on purpose on the 717, I think I worked a total of 6 days plus one SC. My youngest kid told me that I had been around him too much lately. And that I had a lot more white hair in my beard. I'll take that as a win.

No matter what people say in the positive, this plane is perceived to be the red headed stepchild. I’m ok with that. Maybe we should keep the positives to ourselves just in case.

Agree. Yea matter of fact, it's a terrible plane, i'd recommend bidding off it ASAP. You have to spend a lot of time in/out of the D-gates, can you imagine having to be down there? And GNV overnights? Hard to beat the van ride in MLB though.

This thread proves there is something for everyone at Delta. Glad there are folks enjoying the 717 operation

Yep. There’s something for everyone at DAL.

I did long legs in a previous life and have no desire to be airborne more than 2 hrs at a pop ever again. I did MSP-BDL-MSP recently and it was awful! (2:20 and 3:00 legs, the horror!).

I’d like to try the 320 or 737 for the pay bump, or even the ER, but the long legs keep me at bay.

I’m sure on the ER you could bid the FL shuttle. That’ll meet your under 2 hour criteria. Plenty of it in open time too!

I’ve heard that while on their jumpseat. I’m probably junior enough that’s all I’d get anyway! Hmmmm. 🤔

The ER is the only plane I’m thinking of jumping to simply for the FL overnights. Being a South FL commuter, it may have its benefits. But, laying over at home isn’t always as restful as one would hope it to be with kids and a honey do list.
