They don't "cut the line." The cold hard truth is they've been under scrutiny from Delta for years so, again, there's no line cutting. Propel is working as advertised for those pilots.

That is simply not true anymore. OO has FOs with 0 TPIC and barely 1,000 SIC onboarding with Delta as a result of Propel. Any Propel candidate who is a DCI FO is on the fast track. I haven't heard of a single recent DCI captain being hired off the street in a very long time. They seem to need us to stay put so that the DCI operation doesn't implode. Just my anecdotal theory.

If by "under scrutiny" you mean a 2-3 year period, I guess. Where I wholeheartedly agree is that it is working better than advertised, and anyone with the opportunity to join it should do so.

haha. Hard to imagine Sanford being trendy. I sure enjoyed the volleyball and pool at Stonebrook.

I think it meets the criteria to be considered cutting the line. They’re seniority list ALPA pilots, on 9E’s seniority list just like all the other 9E folks, subject to the same pay and work rules, but they move to Delta out of seniority. Recently a number of propel pilots were moved to Delta without upgrading and ahead (well ahead) of 9E off the street CJO holders. It doesn’t make propel pilots bad people, but call it what it is. It’s a sweet deal.

It's not, but there are a few blocks in the downtown area of Sanford that have been gentrified. I wouldn't go off of the main streets though. The German restaurant there is the best German food outside of Deutschland though.

Yeah..but those that were furloughed after 9/11 remember JCLawson and Dan Ford giving us the finger after we supported Comair during their strike. Comair hiring 60 per month and Delta furloughing 50 per month. Comair guys with Guppy Killer stickers on their flight kits. Somebody has the memo from Comair MEC telling furloughed Delta guys to F off. Three furloughed Delta pilots committed suicide. Yeah..it didnt go over our heads.

And yet it did.
You clearly got triggered by the "C word" which is another discussion entirely, but when Delta closed that academy it was owed by Delta and had nothing to do with Comair, and absolutely nothing whatsoever to do with the Comair MEC.
The point of those mentioning it was to highlight how poorly and shortsighted prior management was to dealing with the slow motion developing pilot crunch that they had decades to see coming.
They bought two regionals for billions of dollars only to shut one down and sell the other for dimes on the dollar (about 300M) to a competing regional under duress for unbelieveably bad terms.
The subsequent selling of a robust and successful flight training academy, and then doing nothing to reestablish one for over 2 decades, is the ironical reference many are making. That had absolutely nothing to do with what you were upset by.

I didn’t mean it in a demeaning way, I more meant they go on their own programs terms, not the flow. Propel is a great deal for those starting out. Nothing wrong with it.
