DAL to start flight academy
Delta Air Lines announced today that they will launch their own flight academy, similar to United Airlines Aviate Academy. The Delta Propel Pilot Academy will be operated in conjunction with Skyborne Airline Academy in Vero Beach Florida. The training footprint for student pilots will be designed to train the next generation of Delta Pilots.

I feel like they should call it Comair Academy and open the school in Sanford, Florida. They could even sweeten the pot by offering travel benefits to CFIs...

“Student pilots will be eligible to receive up to $20,000 from Delta in financial support. Delta will also cover the cost of interest on student loans from select lenders.”
Interesting. Sounds like Delta will pickup the tab on student loan interest while in training. Looks like they’re interested in getting financially disadvantaged students in the pipeline.
Poked around a bit; you can speed run your training if you’re capable.
Didn’t see any college requirement; that might be buried somewhere?
