Default Goodbye "Pilot cups"

According to the latest 'Weekly Update', the Styrofoam cups are going to be 'phased out' starting on March 24. Time for everyone to find a pilot-size replacement because we'll be getting the little passenger cups from now on.

Yes, I drink the airplane coffee; I actually like it with a double-shot of espresso. "That which does not kill us makes us stronger." --Nietzsche

Those new ones can't hold enough ice to chill one Coke

I love how they are selling it as an environmental responsibility move, when everyone knows it's actually a cost cutting move.

Do you honestly believe that the tiny number of foam cups Delta gives pilots makes a difference to the environment? That's like spitting in the ocean then blaming it for the streets of Miami flooding every month.

But of course, you just like to argue about everything with this troll account of yours.

every act matters. Even simple things like changing how much styrofoam you consume. I don’t think it’s trolling to say that, but you’re free to think it is.

Thousands of cuts. There are probably 10 cups in that bag, at least. That's like 18M styrofoam cups a year. That's not "a tiny number." If all of us just did little things to improve our environment, our world would be SIGNIFICANTLY better.

I spend a lot of time doing beach cleanups. If we got rid of even 10% of styrofoam use and shifted to reusables, it would be a massive change in what I clean up.

You aren't a real man if you're out there picking up the beach. Real men pour their natty into a CA foam cup, pound it then chuck the can and the cup into the ocean to show those dumb dolphins we are more superior than fish

I haven't read this yet, but for the 350 guys, you better get your own cups of some kind with a lid or your going to have to go to the back to drink anything but water.
