Timing my application

Hello all. My career goal, like many, is to fly for Delta. I recently started flying for the LCC with the bright paint job. I was hired within the past 6 months with 1500 hours. I have about 100 muli engine turbine hours.
Given that 1000 multi engine turbine is no longer a requirement when do you recommend I put in my application? Any application prep services you would recommend? Thank you all in advance.

Get your application filled out, then get it reviewed, then submit it once it’s been reviewed/audited. I always recommend Raven. They have the most thorough application review process that I am aware of.

Checked and Set, specifically Charlie Venema. He was a hiring manager at a legacy airline and had in hand in AirlineApps programming.

You should have just gone through propel . You’d be at Delta by now ahead of the line.

Ignoring the fact this just isn’t true, why are you projecting/crapping on this person?

//break, break//

busDVR, put in your app, as others here have said. You can’t get the call unless you do. Good luck!

He’s bitter and spouts the same junk about how propel folks should be “back of the line” to endeavor pilots on their FB page too.

IMO as long as you meet ALL of their published mins, get your app in ASAP.

They're not going to call you now (unless you're DEEPLY connected), but when they eventually do and they ask you "so, when did you first apply?" you'll be able to say "the second I met your hiring minimums.

That's always worth the price of admission.

Now, the time to get your app in is now.

Hmmmm.... I'm 52 years old and flying for Endeavor, but I'm SO overqualified for that rinky dink airline. I'm so awesome I should be flying for Delta or at least be at the head of any line to get hired. So, what shall I use for my APC screen name? I know.... overqualified52 ! ha ha :>)

He/she has been on here a while now with that username so I think he/she is well past 52. 56 or 57 by post count and posts per day math.

The millisecond you meet all the required (not desired) minimums, submit ASAP! Update your hours weekly.

Don't try to game the system.

52 was my waist size . Now I’m down to a 34 waist thanks to my new green bean diet . So now I’ll go by overqualified 34.

How many pounds have you lost? That’s a huge waist reduction.

I’m of the opinion that you should always let somebody else tell you “no”. If you don’t submit your app—even before meeting the mins—you are effectively telling yourself “no”. I don’t care what you’re trying to do…get a job, get a loan…whatever it is, don’t be the one to impose a limitation on yourself.

Wouldn’t you like to be first in line when Delta decides to relax the very requirement you’re lacking?

I agree 100%. I think guys get anxiety about "timing their app" less from submitting the app itself and more from using that one LoR from a DL pilot buddy knowing it's gonna get looked.
