Jumpseat attire.

Certainly it's been mentioned before, but obviously the company isn't getting the word out on verbiage THEY put in the FOM. Biz casual or uniform y'all. No jeans, sneakers and a shirt with a collar.
Had a JSer yesterday show up. With all of the aforementioned clothing. Of course I took him, but let him know that some captains likely would not. Curiously he was a commuter with @ 18 months with the company. In his defense he commutes solely on DC and OAL, so he was unfamiliar with DAL policy on this matter.
Anyway please don't put a captain in this position.

One of us and didn’t know our JS attire policy? I call BS. Either didn’t care (most likely) or too lazy to look (or remember from INDOC, they should still talk about it there right?).
Although a nicer 1/4 zip pull over I’m ok with.

FWIW, "casual sport shoes" are actually allowed per the FOM. But yea, jeans (denim) are not.

This again? Isn't this horse dead by now?

They know the policy, they just want you to let them get away with it.

True, Refer to FOM 3.6.1.2 What I meant to indicate was no T-shirts.
Also this section specifically prohibits "athletic shoes". It does permit casual sport shoes. A little common sense would indicate don't show up in running shoes expecting a ride.
