Question. On reserve, get a 3 day GS on days off. Only reserve days left are the last two days of the month. Do I only get 2 PB days? If so, what can I do with them😂. First time in over 30 years to have PB days.

Any PB days due when you have no more LC left in the month end up in the bank. So a 3 day GS with 2 LC days left will net either 1 or 2 full days in the bank depending on the type of operation and the release time.

Only option I can come up with is to drop it and try to pick it back up myself.

Any suggestions out there?

If the days are blue, you could always take a second trip and PS into a third trip plus your original. Rinse and repeat. PBD drop trip A. Pot swap trip B for trip C and A. Drop trip A. Pot swap Trip C for B and A. Only doable really if reserves days are blue, but you can wash your own PBDs if so. Then dump whatever trips you don't want and snag the one you do.

Good points, thanks. I'm new at this. Anything risky about dropping and trying to pick it up myself, other than a more senior pilot coming in above me and getting it on a white slip?

Also, another thing I don't understand -- the trip continues to not drop, due to "CAPPED RESERVE DAY(S)," even though I have a white slip in for the trip, and I know another person (junior to me) does, too. Is this a pre-month feature?

You can't drop the trip because there isn't sufficient reserve coverage. It doesn't matter if you have a white slip to pick it back up. The only way to get rid of it without sufficient reserve coverage is for someone to pick it up out of qualified open time.

That's why you need a buddy to wash payback days.

does the other person with a slip in have enough pick up limit available?

Can someone walk me through converting SUPP days back to banked PBs? TIA.

PB day section of the SRH explains it in detail.

No reason it shouldn’t go through then, unless something wrong with your request or their ws
