disagree. That’s just someone providing perspective. Like someone jazzed to get a five day Green Slip With Conflict over a one day trip.

I would be jazzed on that. I try not to do 5 days at all costs but id do one for green slip pay plus the day trip pay. 5 day green slip is a lot of $ definitely worth my time

GSWC is a misnomer.....its better explained as a WSWC.....you get single pay for the 5 day "green" slip, then single pay for the conflict rotation that is dropped.

So doing a 5 day to drop a 1 day is terrible.

But doing a 1 day GSWC that drops the 5 day....chef's kiss!

GSWC get better the shorter the trip you fly vs the longer the trip you drop. Flying a 2 day to drop a 5 day would be sweet. Flying a 5 to drop a 2 is much less desirable.

Yes...green slip with conflict would be more accurately described as a white slip with conflict.

Yup.

Pick up another GS on the 4 days that dropped and it’s effectively triple pay.
(Hey, you were planning to work anyway)

I haven’t seen a GSWC for a long, long time.

The only ones I remember seeing were the A350 launch debacle and the legendary million dolar man. I've never seen one in my cats and even OOBGS were 3 years ago.

With the massive loss of PB days in the system, it's hard to even see a regular GS anymore lol. But ya, the GS after GSWC were incredible with the 350 launch.

2015 NYC717B. Got a 1-day GSWC that covered day 1 of a 5-day, then a 3-day GS on days 3-5 of original trip. 12 days of pay in the 5 day footprint. Things were crazy back then.
