Delta data breach
ALPA just sent out an email about a data breach involving Delta employees and their families.
I had a credit card issued to my daughter (Capitol One Savor card) using my Delta work e-mail address on October 8th. Luckily it was sent to the house and I was able to cancel the card before it was used. I rarely check my Delta email, and was lucky to catch the transaction in progress. If you don't regularly check your work email, it might be a good time to do so. |
I’ve had a bunch of “financial advisors” calling me in the last month or so all of them have been calling on the dedicated line I have set up for Delta & ARCOS. So they got the number from Delta somehow. When I ask them how they got my information they either won’t tell or they claim they got it from AI. Someone inside this company is selling our information.

It amazes me how few people even know this is a [now] free function of our involuntary credit score system. |

Who cares about work email? You can get MEC emails to your personal inbox, by the way. Much better than checking work emails.

Correct, this is the easiest way to block identity theft.

It would be a shame to miss that because you only check your Delta.com email once a month. Unless you have perma-credit monitoring because you worked for the government in the 2000s. |

Because the data breached Delta PII, including your email, and messages announcing opening of credit lines are going to delta.com emails...

The moment our seniority list got leaked, our emails were out.

There are 4 credit agencies. Be sure to do
a hard freeze with all 4. Innovis is typically the one that is missed. Probably the worst one to miss because they are the ones who verify consumer data is correct. |
