Pay statement
Does anyone have a pay statement for 04/13 or a paycheck yet?
|
Isn't it usually 4/15? I suspect I'll see it hit my account later today and pay statement in two days.

Previously, it's been on the 13th. But the 15th is good too as long as I haven't been fired.
the last 2 months the 15th has fallen on a Sunday, so payday was Friday the 13th paystubs are available at midnight Mecca time the day before payday. Idk why DL does it that way, probably a control thing. |

They haven't necessarily fixed the glitch yet. My bank usually deposits the cash a few days prior to payday, but I don't even bother looking for the statement until the day after payday. As GF said, when the pay hits slides around when payday falls on a weekend. |

It's only on the 13th if the 15th is on a Sunday. We get paid on the 15th and last day of the month. It's been that way for at least 20 years..

And yet we have pilots who have been here for 20 years who don’t know how the pay is broken down between the 2 different pay checks…

EOM paycheck - 1/2 reserve guarantee for that month (at lowest rate if on a multi payrate fleet.) + any performance bonus (D0/A0 goals. usually about $100) 15th paycheck- the difference between the dollar amount you earned the previous month and what was paid on the prior EOM paycheck. Plus all per diem. |
Does anyone have any feedback on the new pilot pay app?
|
My paycheck is in my account (USAA).

I know this is probably TIC, but if it’s not or for anyone who actually doesn’t understand and doesn’t want to ask.

Is that what that extra $100 or whatever is for? Company achieved D0/A0 goals, or crew achieved D0/A0 goals?

Any international cats seeing a small portion of their international per diem suddenly being taxed with no domestic layovers? This started in FEB.

Not everyone. They changed the plan so that under certain circumstances the non-cons can get more than the pilots. Because they “have to honor” the pwa as written.
but that sounds on brand for this management team. |

This year's international per diem exceeds the GSA (federal) maximum daily allowance. The amount that exceeds the GSA rate is subject to tax withholdings, Social Security and Medicare. When we get our 2026 W-2, it'll show up under one of those weird letter codes as taxable income. More information is available with a search using the phrase "perdiem that exceeds federal limits" |

I think this started showing up in February because of our Jan-Dec per diem setting timing.

Yeah.....it's labeled "Shared Rewards" and anywhere from 0 to $100 per month.
Over the winter they started only giving the pilots 3 of the 4 items because of how it is worded in the PWA ... so now the max we will get is $75. The Union wasn't interested in grieving it. |

...and that's yet another area where the company "re-interpreted" ... its contractual, and always in the past we got the same as the noncons ($0-$100).

Could they have also given pilots the $75? Of course. But they claimed that they had to “honor the contract” as written. |
