Over/under, asking price for the POS S3, they'll try to sell it to us like the S2. I'm guessing $199

Does anybody have that add-on life insurance for general aviation flying? I can't find information on it anywhere. I'm trying to figure out how much is costs and how much it covers. Also, are there limitations for flying experimental aircraft?

Thanks in advance.

Apparently, our company provided life insurance covers GA flying, including experimental.

Really? I thought in indoc they were saying that if you wanted to fly GA they sold an add-on for that? Also, in the PWA it says the company will make GA/private pilot insurance available. If you're right though, that's awesome.

I believe the supplemental AD&D requires a separate and add6itional policy if you want to cover GA activities. Not sure if it covers experimental/homebuilt.

Jeez... If my $800k+ life insurance policy (plus $400k optional add-on) won't cover me in the event of my death flying GA, that'd be a well-kept secret. Maybe I'm a bad indoc listener, but I have to believe many on our list are unaware of any such carve-out. For a working group that contains aviation enthusiasts, it would seem wholly inappropriate.

In that case id recommend downloading the Tom Leykis app. Haha

Yeah, I’m a bit confused on this apparently. Previously, I saw an ALPA Indoc slideshow that indicated there were no activities that weren’t covered, then when I went searching for it today I found a reference to additional optional coverage you could buy for GA. Maybe additional liability insurance? It’s probably worth a call to the ALPA benefits folks since I, apparently, don’t know exactly what I’m talking about. 😳

.
It’s life insurance that covers you in the event of a GA accident. I believe up to $750,000 is available for a reasonable monthly payroll deduct payment.
