You’ve never had a PB day?! That’s like someone saying they’ve never tried ice cream before. You are missing out.

Anyone had any luck reaching crew resources/vacations to move SUP days? Tried the form on icrew 3 times with no answer and they definitely don’t answer their phones.

I've had good luck with Smart Sheets if that's what you're referring to. I received a response within 24hrs.

I am a commuter and don't do reserve. When I did do reserve (not by choice), I never broke the 70 hour reserve guarantee and GS's were non-existent.

Isn't the minimum 72 hours? Also, doesn't the TLV require higher ALVs and thus higher reserve guarantees some months of the year?

We know that you know this, so phrasing it in questions like this comes off as very unnecessarily condescending.

It'd be great to get back to the days where a GS was a nice thing you got maybe once or twice a year! A guy can dream...

The reserve guarantee was fixed at 70 hours until contract 2012. He might mean a few years back.

The TLV also changed recently to the new permanent value of 73-78.

Maybe he never got Full regardless of ALV…

And heaven forbid someone misremembers or mistypes…

When I sat reserve, it was pre-contract 2012. Reserve guarantee was 70 hours every month. The average daily guarantee was 5 hours per day, applied to reserves by the month, not trip, and only applied to duty periods where you actually flew a flight. It meant you had to fly at least 15 duty periods per month to break guarantee. Back then, most 4 days on the -88 only had 3 duty periods. 0 GS. Breaking guarantee was impossible. On a brighter note, I was never flying tired. Lol.

I also used to walk uphill in the snow to school, both ways.

Is there a way to view current month pairings in the PBS web app? I’d like to find pairings that meet certain criteria without manually digging through the bid pack.

Use the filters. They are almost limitless.

but you can’t after the 25th of the month prior. It locks out for CQ bidding

Does anyone use DC Noise Cancelling headsets on the ER?

In years past when I flew it it was unheard of. But now I'm hearing people are coming around.

Below 18,000 only.

(I know there's no hot mic.)

16 more 717s reactivated bringing the fleet total to 80, just 13 below the Pre-COVID peak

Is there a link for that? Recently had a LCA tell me the same, but I tend to take all that stuff with a grain of salt. Makes sense based on what we're seeing, I just wonder if all the recent AE accounted for that activation or not.
