The MadDog could be a bit wasteful out of LAX as it has a good range to to hit both coast from MSP. On the other hand, LAX could use all the 717 we could find?

Dot connectors?

SWA is delaying 737deliveries. Thoughts? Is it really capacity management or are 717's still in the fleet plan longer than expected? Meh...probably nothing.

Yes, they have the language, but can reduce the timeline if the extra time will not effect the vote.

All I know is they got the language, not what is in it. They are going over it line by line, interspersed with Regular Business. Its closed, and so are the lips of the Reps. Don't ask em what they cannot share. Don't waste their time, they need it to debate each other.

My assmption is the leaks are not from the MEC.

Back to condo shopping.

I think their costs are going up & their profits are going down.

So far i've been satisfied with my reps on answering my questions and all regarding this contract. Both reps in my council respond my emails within 12 hours, and seems like they are not just trying to BS their ways, or trying to spin things off their way.

With that said, we still have a lot of work, and I'm anxious to see the language for myself.

I can't believe American and Allegiant get away with flying MD-80s into LAX. You guys ever heard of the South Coast Air Quality Management District? It's amazing we're even allowed to have an airport in California.

I wonder if they are contemplating a shopping trip. Meh...probably just an effort to correct stock dilution.

It could be that the 717 deal fell through, or it could be that SWA wants to delay the capex. Keep in mind that a lot of their new 737's were ordered to replace not only the 717 eventually but also older 737's which they have the flexibility to keep around a bit longer if they want. So it could mean either or both.

Or they are delaying 737-7's for a possible 738 order. Many possibilities.
