This is a fascinating comment. So the contract is 477 pages (I'll take your word for it) That is a difficult assignment no doubt, and since it is written by ********* lawyers FOR ********* lawyers, it is esoteric, vague, hard to read language. But...... if DALPA comes out in road shows to explain the contract language in plain English that most of us speak, it is a "sell job". I guess they can't win that, huh?

There is another piece to this TA puzzle that will be announced before the vote. The TA will be a marginal pass with the junior pilots voting for it more so then the senior pilots. It fails in my two biggest needs, pay and retirement. When the last piece is dangled it will sadly ratify.
There was no reason for us to hurry on this issue. Ben Franklin (or maybe it was Buzz) said "Haste makes waste".

Yep, I think ALPA holds a grudge.
Where are you getting the 4:30 min pay per day? I see 5:15 just like our present contract. If they dropped it to 4:30 that could be a significant pay cut on some rotations.

It's the oldies that I worry about the most....just like you said pay and retirement.

The 50 seaters are under contract to DCI through 2023. There's 311 of them under contract at the end of 2015, or just 125 with this TA.

There are not 125 under contract with this TA. There are still 311. I was told the agreements for the majority drop dead between 2017 and 2024. Delta is not going to be released from the leases by Bombardier with a a big quid. Look for that announcement soon.

Go back and reread the TA section 1. You will find that you are incorrect.
