Yes, I know... my bad for not expressing myself properly.
After the mil and furloughs have returned for classes, then the flows start right?
My question refers to the amount of flows in each class or month: Is there a percentage of them? max?
Just trying to gauge if there will be off the street hiring at all.
I still see a possibility of it happening, but I could be wrong.

Im pretty sure if it's 20 a month it will all be Compass flows if there are some left. They have first rights after furloughs...

I was hired in 2010 and it sounds like they are going to approach it the same exact way. 305 were hired, approximately 150 were furlough recalls and flow throughs and the rest were off the street hires(including people who were from ASA and etc who interviewed). The furlough recalls and flow throughs were in seperate indoc classes than us off the street hires. But we both started on the same day and went and had lunch all in the same room so we could all meet. I'm sure they will be interviewing DCI pilots as well as Mil pilots off the street like me. 150 or so off the street hires were around 60% regional/DCI pilots and 40% ex-mil and other.

i. one-third (1/3) of all available positions, apart from positions filled under LOA #9 and #10 of the Delta PWA (i.e., Compass and Mesaba Flow-Up) in effect as of December 1, 2012, or
ii. 12 (2013-2016)
..."
So, 1/3 of a new hire class outside of the flow-thrus would be Pinnacle SSP pilots, meaning 2/3 of the class outside of the flows could come from anywhere (I think the "Scope" section of Delta's CBA inlcudes a provision that 35% of new hire classes will be from ALPA DCI carriers, but that includes all the flows and SSPs).

Almost . . . the number of Pinnacle pilots in the class is the lesser of 1/3 of the available positions (not including CPZ and XJ flow) or 12.
But let's say it is 12 . . .then 2/3 of that number are SSP positions while 1/3 are for outside the SSP . . . therefore, 12 Pinnacle pilots get positions, 8 from SSP and 4 from outside of SSP in that class, remainder from the street.
The 35% requirement really doesn't matter much while the current flows are ongoing because they are included in that %. . . so, in a hypothetical class of fifty, 29 are flow, which is well above the 35% level.
During the 2009-2010 cycle, over 50% of the new hires came from Delta Connection carriers. IMO, the 35% level will be helpful to the Delta Connection pilots after the flows are exhausted and the Delta retirement big numbers kick in (over 200 age 65 per year starting in 2016).
Good luck to everyone. Time to update/apply.
