Are you ready for the final airline job interview of your career? New hire candidates applying at Endeavor Air now have the exclusive opportunity to be hired utilizing the Delta selection process. The Delta Air Lines pilot selection process is ABSOLUTE, meaning the successful applicant will never have to undergo it again.
A successful outcome also means that you will never have to guess if, how, or what major airline job you will end up with. This commitment is the only one of its kind and finally gives pilots the progression in which the industry has been promising for years!
We call this the Endeavor to Delta Commitment, or EtD.
Endeavor Air, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Delta, has transformed into a vibrant and innovative carrier committed to being the best place to work in the regional airline industry. Haha. They'll just come back with, but you let the Japanese on our soil...way to screw that up!

Forgive me but Im not sure what you are referring to here. I worked at Comair for a short time but Im not sure how you would know that. The 757 is much nicer than the CRJ and I make way more as an FO at Delta than I did at Comair. I dont know what the Comair MEC has to do with anything. I was 15 years old twenty years ago.
Bohicagain and I were senior at Compass which is a very small company. We both have more people below us at Delta than we ever did at Compass yet are still more junior than we ever were at Compass. My comment was just an observation of the difference between tiny companies and giant companies.
I'm guessing there was a miscommunication somewhere. I'm actually curious to see what it was.

Simply put, an applicant can expect Delta to act with good faith. In training everyone has a good attitude and does their best to help the new hire.

Don't know about AA, but Delta's training is really not set up that way. In the interest of efficiency, we've got DGS instructors who are outsourced, then we have Flight Instructors who are FO's (well thought of and smart, but not oriented with the horsepower to go firing new hires). Typically only checking events bring out Line Check Airmen (and women) and APDs.

I know everything, about every one, I know where you worked, who you voted for and you mother's maiden name!
All your bases are belong to us!
My point was, there was a time, when you were 15, when an RJ MEC could have had all of their pilots on the Delta Seniority List.
But a few tools at the top of Com Air's MEC wanted 'Date of Hire' on the Delta list, so it didn't happen.
We were -that close- to eliminating the RJ whipsawing. But a few clowns at the top wanted to be 767 Captains over night and the industry has been paying the price for their greed ever since.

I know Timbo and 1) he's not that old, and 2) when he does partake of the sauce, its the good stuff. It only makes him smarter.

Precisely. I was one of the DAL furloughees that could have been blended into Comair but was not due to politics with the Comair MEC. Water under the bridge and Comair went away. I think Boomer can speak to that.

And as you well know, drinking only makes you smarter, it thins out the 'slower' brain cells that can't out run the alcohol!
Survival of the fittest!
I'm not a fan of either the Colts or the Eagles, but boy, the Refs. sure screwed the Colts out of a win tonight!
And...why were they throwing from the Eagles 20 on 3rd and long, when they could have kicked a field goal and won the game??

I don't remember the training dept being a threat back in 2000/2001, unless you're talking about the 727 FE program. Them boys was crazy what with their, "I'm a molecule of air. Take me through the pneumatic system."
