Read the previous post carefully, especially “The short answer is: If he or she is a certified AME and you have not satisfied their concerns, he or she would have an obligation to report it.”

Actually, I think it's the opposite here. There is too much language in the new Section 14

When I have seen issues with ambiguity it is often due to too much language not less unless there is a missing comma.

It has nothing to do with “burning the place down” and everything with trying to make Delta the place they promised the families it was when we sat at the indoc dinner and they said look at that 767 we are under, the employees bought that plane and now Delta is the best in the world and you will never see a quality of life better for an airline pilot than here. Delta loves its employees and they know the better they treat their employees the better their profits will be.
So you have people who have spent time at other carriers (including people from SWA and FedEx coming over) people with decades in the military as well as guys who fought the regional life to reach Delta as the holy grail and you want them to be silent on maintaining that vision because they are new??? Isn’t voicing their opinion on the contract how those who will live with it the longest can keep Delta the place pilots want to come?

Unfortunately, that is not true. Delta talks a good game, but in the end, employees are cost units to be minimized. We should absolutely enjoy our jobs and get the most money and time off humanly possible.

But at the end of the day, Delta is not our friend. They will tolerate us only as long as they need us.

FWIW, that somebody is a very senior Captain and former 4th floor type. Very good guy. Very rational, non-emotional kind of guy.

Anybody that does not believe PD can check with any retired pilot. (Most often stationed at the entrance of your friendly Walmart.)

I expect this kind of shameful opinion of fellow pilots from you sailingfud, I just didn't expect it from tsqaure.

Really? Here's the posting chain you responded to:

Is it sick leave abuse we are talking about....or is it 'paid' sick leave abuse that is the problem?

Because they are two entirely different issues.

I heard lec reps say Dr Faulkner wants nothing to do with this and that the company is shopping around trying to find someone who will.
