Phone Polling
I just did the phone survey. It was all about how much I was willing to give up in each area. Totally concessionary feeling. I think there was one question regarding increases and a bunch of other questions regarding trades.
"The company has made sick leave a negotiating priority"
Same for profit sharing, productivity, 76 seaters etc. cool, let's solve more company problems.
So were are still stuck at trades and giving stuff up. Wonderfull.
Survey over all was an F, but I'm am sure it will be a self fulfilling prophecy to the MEC. Why aren't these clowns asking me what improvements I want to the contract instead of asking how to tweak NFWTA2015?

I know exactly what I'm willing to give up for this next contract. It's a very easy answer.
I'm willing to give up a month or two of pay to stand curbside in my uniform holding a sign that says "No more concessions".
If there are 50% willing to do the same, I'm the +1 that will put us over the top. How many of you are also willing to be the +1 that puts us in a position of strength during negotiations? The company underestimated us when they sent NA15, lets make sure they don't underestimate our resolve to secure a fair contract. The stronger and more unified we are, the quicker we get a contract we have earned.

Prior to Malone getting elected they had already decided to do the polling. One thing the bad actors have said is the vote was voted down because they didn't know how to combat the Social Media. Guess what? They just hired a social media expert (to spam their talking points and try to regain control of the "message"). I'll give you one guess who likely wrote the questions for this polling and why it has slanted questions much like the survey did. Hint: he dodged recall and is based in Cincinnati.
Now to those still holding out hope, we saw a guy running for MEC Chair use the word Restoration....hope was alive! We were thinking he can turn this place around. He didn't have the votes to be elected but alas, at last second he did. Ho-ray!!.............................................
Then he stopped using the word Restoration. He's letting company propaganda (Deltanet press releases that are not accurate, and SD video footage from SEA meeting that would make disinformation Bob from Iraq proud) go unchecked....and the bogus polling.
WHERE IS MALONE?? I realize they are having meetings, he is building his nest and elections are taking place but he needs to walk and chew gum at the same time. Hate to say this guys, but the relative silence is telling. So is substituting the words "plus" in lieu of Restoration. Hope I'm wrong about this but from the early stages, Malone seems to have been assimilated by the Borg.
He should shut down the bogus polling and put out something to combat the propaganda management is floating. He needs to firmly grab Buzz by the collar and tell him who's running the show now. He needs to communicate that we aren't putting lipstick on a pig but will use Fedex's entire contract (including pension) and work rules from other contracts that are superior to ours as the starting point to level up from. Short of that, it really is time for DPA. Seriously.

To add insult to injury, we have Heiko on the negotiating committee, who it appears is committed to the lipstick on a pig campaign.
If the place cannot be purged through recall/elections and some form of restoration leadership step up, we need to level the whole cockroach infested place the only way we can, start fresh with a real union with bylaws that empower the membership and make it more difficult for the bad actors to slime their way in.
