"Based on these prices, we expect our 2015 consolidated fuel expense to improve by approximately $5 billion year-over-year. Our fourth quarter forecast is between $1.48 and $1.53 per gallon for mainline, and regional $1.51 to $1.56."
No wonder Curly, Douds, O'Mahoney, Nestor, Sawtell and Joe the math major want us to make concessions.
Adding $300 million per year to the failed TA is a pebble rippling in the ocean.
Year after year Delta's non fuel expense has been sub 2%.
All the while Delta executive compensation is up well over 700% since Chapter 11.
