Jet Fuel Is $1.00
Jet fuel today is $1.00.
This is an annual saving to Delta of over $9 BILLION. Plus over $1 BILLION in bag fees annually. Plus $1 BILLION In ticket change fees. ALL OF THE CONCESSIONS WE TOOK IN BANKRUPTCY ARE NO LONGER NECESSARY. Make your voice heard. Lots of talk about retirement. This is critical. But vacation is quality of life and family time that has suffered far, far, far too long. SWA vacation 210 hours. FedEx 216 hours Delta 113:45 hours |
Are you sure?
I seem to remember Gold Finger telling all us rocket surgeons about "peak oil". :) Hope oil stays low; it makes us mo money and it should put the hurt on the ME3 gang. |
Per the investor presentation, Delta will be a 75% participant in jet fuel price drop for 2016. We still have some hedges. YOY comparisons in the first two quarters will be stellar!

Jet fuel is not $1.00 per gallon. For 4Q2015 Delta will pay on average $1.85 per gallon and the forecast for 2016 is $1.45 per gallon.

Looks like they guessed wrong on their hedges again...

Hey, what's a few billion in blown hedges when you can get your pilots to pony up their profit sharing for 3% raises?
It's all good, right? Ed, we square bro? Go get some sleep, you don't look too good... |
We just hired a new fuel hedger. He'll trim these fuel hedges a bit. Its all good now.
