SEA Achieves Hub Status?
Deltanet headline:
"In this episode of 'Ask Ed Anything,' Ed discusses the performance of Delta's Seattle Hub, fuel hedge strategies for the future, plans to visit Delta offices and hubs around the world and the airline's role in the veto of Georgia's religious liberty bill."
On the video a Delta F/A asks about SEA "hub" success. Ed in turn refers to SEA as a "hub" and highlights attributes of the operation that have exceeded expectations and the company's contributed growth emphasis and long term plans for SEA (25% growth per year in the last few years).
So, can we please make it an actual hub now?

It should be an easy argument if we go past mediation and get to arbitration. RA, Sleepy Ed and countless others in senior management repeatedly refer to SEA as a hub. SEA is a hub, nothing to negotiate, next point... If they want us to ignore their volumes of quoted public statements, I'm sure they are willing to give something up for that.

Seattle is a hub so we can codeshare with Alaska and gain passengers in the back of Delta jets that Delta would never fly to otherwise, even with Delta Connection RJ's.
As Delta has grown it has done less and less codeshare with Alaska. Delta is no longer codesharing on hub to hub flights on Alaska.
So, even if that language exists in the contract, it is not being used. The scope compliance reports go to "0."
One would think it would be reasonable to ask that the company remove scope permissions which are unused. That recommendation has been made.
