Paid to Picket

While line pilots are expected to bid around picketting events and do it on their own time, our MEC reps are being offered up to 10:30 of full pay to picket on the 24th. Why can't our reps just ALPA block those days instead of getting paid up to 10:30 for an hour of picketting? Call your reps and ask them if they will be on FPL (and expenses) to picket on the 24th.

FPL to peddle a concessionary agreement and hurl insults vs. FPL to support restoration and equity?

ummm.....I'll take restoration and equity for $1000, Alex

Stop nitpicking for Pete's sake. Get on board and stop trying to divide.
Your drivel is getting old

Picketing is a perfect use of FPL.

Next topic of concern, Falcon...

Yikes, Falcon. You're getting more and more pathetic.

LEC reps are also doing a ton of footwork on those days organizing the sites, the vans etc. What they get in FPL doesn't even come close to the amount they're doing. Go back in your hole Falcon.

Exactly. Showing up to picket is one thing. Organizing, fielding phone calls, and guaranteeing you'll be there is something else.

I can't believe there are pilots out there actively rooting for this MEC to fail. There is no unity to this pilot group.

Don't be mistaken. There is tremendous amount of unity amongst our pilots. Falcon for whatever personal reason doesn't wanna be part of it.

You do understand that these events don't just happen. They require a lot of effort to organize. The reps are not being paid to picket, they are being paid to set the entire event up. It's many hours of work well beyond the day of picketing.

I'm willing to set up a crowd fund to pay Falcon to picket, who's with me? Poor guy.
