That's the same thing Hawaii50 and Tsquare/James
Bond said for the last TA. And you were wrong. Abysmally wrong. You clearly have no concept of what the majority of the group wants.

I just said I don't know what the 13500 people who will be affected by any TA and their families want. You sure seem to think you know and push it on us all day everyday but I'm pretty sure you don't. When you get on your daily soapbox and squawk for the resignation of the chairman and negotiating committee, I know you don't.

I'd be happy if the folks at the tip of the spear would at least let us know they are clear on what we DIDN'T want!

That's an interesting leap you've made. While not actually accurate and completely overblown you've used that wobbly accusation to be the foundations of your argument. I'm going to go ahead and call your statement horse$hit.

Seriously? You've seen PD's posting history, right? There is no wobbly about it.
And yes, it was extrapolating to make a point.

How and why would a NMB park us. Afterall, isnt that why we have this ridiculous process anyway? Pilots cant strike because shutting down an airline as big as Delta "decimates" commerce in the U.S? This is what the railway labor act was designed to prevent. No one is getting "parked," but we might get screwed...thats possible. If the NMB were to "park" us they'd essentially be violating their inteded purpose of preventing a shut down in the first place.

There is always going to be the loudest group that is all over their reps and social media. Do these people really represent the will of the mainly silent majority or are they extremist views among us? I'd say somewhere in between but it's hard to know. I'm sure the surveys, polls and current input have given the reps a pretty good idea where the group stands. None of us here really know if they are representing the will of the group or not. That's where trust and letting them do their job comes in.

UPS was already far ahead of us in their contract when they began negotiations. That is a critical data point. Yeah, it averages out to base hits, but they were already a grand slam ahead of us when they started negotiations.
You talk about a mature contract.... THAT is a mature contract. Similar with FDX and slightly lesser so with WN.
