no help

had a FA crew from what is typically very pilot friendly base relate they were being told the pilots did nada, zip, zilch, to 'assist' with recovery efforts this past week or so......they were reluctant to believe what was being related and were asking for it from the horses mouth.....

anybody else get this ?

I'm guessing that Ed has his back against the wall. I'll bet the board won't take much more circus.

If by "assist" they mean drive to the airport and pass out water and snacks, then ... they're probably right.

Who really gives a rip what any FA thinks? They are easily brainwashed.

Bob, did you ask her exactly what the pilots were supposed to do to 'assist'?

With the new FAR117, I'm guessing most pilots were trying to find a place to rest, so as to be fully rested, until called for duty by re-route. We can't be serving hot chocolate or cleaning the lavs while waiting for the IT department to pull their heads out, and still be fully rested to fly safely all day and all night, once they do.

FA's and everyone else at Delta do NOT have to answer to the FAA should things go sideways after a late pushback.

Ed is an empty suit. He's a lame duck. Not even RA and the PR department can prop him up.
I suspect there is a CEO search going on behind the scenes.

^^^ This right here. ^^^

the simple reality the equipment and people moved illustrates pilot participation. if it didnt....its because of legality or I.T. system failure.

just was wondering how widespread the disinformation effort of 'the problem is those evil greedy pilots '......might have been?
