Not much to speculate. 88 closed and 737 positions were added bringing total to about the same. All A positions filled, not all B positions filled, so about a dozen or so will go to new hires in the coming bids.

Question.
I know class seniority is based on SSN. but what is more senior 9999 or 1111?

340 opening on ATL 88 B is incredible. I wonder what airlines have less than 340 pilots total?

Keep in mind that the company will often put out excess openings in categories where they want to retain the option to place new hires. It does not mean every opening shown is a position that needs to be filled. This is because of the contractual requirement to offer any openings to a current line pilot before placing a new hire in the category.

By chance, do you know if Military Retirement/Guard Drill pay is used when calculating the $270k compensation trigger?
