DAL Class drops

Different strokes for different folks. Some prefer a jet that gets them seniority (88) quickly in a specific base (ATL) versus the "nicer" jet. All subject to change (especially with the 88 retirements happening), so even that is just a guess.
Look at the info, don't listen to naysayers that haven't flown what you're asking about, and decide what is best for you. Then don't look back. It's a great ride either way.

I think the CR letter was talking specifically about displacing Captains. Probably enough slop at the bottom of the food chain to absorb any trickle-down effects.

Also, as folks bid off to other equipment, there will have to be backfill to maintain the “~750 crews” goal mentioned in said CR update...I still think its going to be backfilled due to natural attrition for a while...lots of folks in both seats have no seat lock and are waiting their next move via AE...and a handful will hang till the bitter end and wait for the MD (no pun), upgrade, or their own retirement.
