At least it’s not an irrational number or an imaginary number or a Fibonacci number.

I am not irrational, though I like pi. Especially with whipped cream. (Or Cool Whip for us older guys.)

Sometimes I wake up in a hotel room and wonder where I am and how I got here, must be imaginary. At least when I look at the electrical outlet in the wall, the square root of minus one comes flooding over my mind.

Always thought a Fibonacci spiral was beautiful. Kind of artsy.

Just my thinking, for what it is worth.

FWIW, I was hired in 2014, class size of 74. Scheduled size was 75, with one last minute family emergency. That pilot deferred to a later start date.

Someone on the other thread said an email from crew planning suggested the initial 88A displacements (50-75 of them) will be from ATL and MSP wouldn't be touched on the upcoming bid. FWIW.

.

FWIW, the training dept was alerted that June & July classes would only have 20 spots each to allow SLIs to fly the line during max effort Summer schedule.

Is this a pretty typical drop? How quickly do the LAX aircraft disappear? How does Delta run the bidding - is it by age, like AAL, or something else?

Any info on current line numbers or seniority required to hold each of the bases?

Try going through some existing threads. Lots of good info sprinkled about.

Agree. Yes, this has 200+ pages, but if you scan through, you'll see that there isn't really such a thing as a 'typical' drop. It all depends on what went unfilled on the last system bid (AE).
