All the 320 vacancies were filled in the last 2-3 AE’s so nothing is available for new hires.

Well, yes. Agreed. Just seemed odd that the fleet is growing and more positions aren't open. Contrast this to the 737, also a growing fleet, and lots of those in the class drop. Maybe the delivery schedule dictated they fill all the 320 spots first. Just a guess.

Because the 73 had more slots that weren't bid by pilots already on property. The class drops don't necessarily indicate a growing fleet, only where people have left or didn't want to go to on the previous AE. See ATL M88

prediction: two years from now new hires will be offered only 737 and 717 slots as the A320 and c100 continue to get more senior.

I don't know, if the C100 stays in LAX and NYC, I could still see those slots going at least partially to new hires.

Are UAL and AAL hiring? I went over to their 'Class Drop' threads and there is nothing there. Maybe they aren't networking with potential hires via APC?

UAL isn't really doing much hiring from reading other threads on there. I don't know about AA, other than the thread where there are guys wanting to stop other pilots from being able to reserve the jumpseat.

UAL has 80 new hires going through in June. Then 50 a month through OCT. they are trying to add classes but need to get the new instructors spun up to handle the load first.
