That’s the problem with this industry. No one wants to help those behind them cause once you get to a better level you don’t want to give anything up, you want people to pay their dues.
Ive Even seen people not share bidding tips to people senior to them

That may be a problem with part of this industry, but it isn't a universal truth. The help I've gotten and given just isn't always anonymous-internet-blog-worthy.

I'll confess that I don't work hard to improve the QOL of EB and his gang, but I'm rooting for just about everyone else and know I'm not alone.

I was wondering how long it would take for somebody to put in a comment like this.

Couple things:
1. I'm senior to you. Not brand new. Just stuck in a base I don't want to be in and waiting to move.
2. Not sure how wanting to move bases makes us "all look bad."
3. Doesn't matter how long someone has been here, I'd like to see better base swap options in our AE's. For example, changing bases but not aircraft being allowed every quarter or something or something like that. No cost to the company, but allows us to move if they want to balance a base out.
4. I bet you're a joy to fly with....

Classy Response: “Yeah, that sucks dude, I lived it too. Sorry you’re stuck in NY”

Why is it so hard for keyboard warriors to be decent to people?

Because they have to pretend to be decent people out in the “real” world. Online they can be the angry demon troll that lives right under the surface of their personality.

Just curious. The Big bid that closed a few months ago did not offer the chance to move this year?

I really like that idea. Granted, you couldn't just change at will as you would have to have someone in your seat on your equipment at your desired base who happens to want your current base for it to work. You'd also have to be senior enough to hold the base you are seeking on your equipment. Might work out for a few pilots a year.

That’s certainly not been the case at Delta where the greatest pay gains by far since I was hired have been in the first five years and the greatest quality of life improvements have been the reserve system with nothing else even close.
That’s not to even mention industry firsts like sick coverage for furloughed pilots and the best overall furlough protections in the industry. Protections that saved 600 Delta pilots from furlough in 2009. All new since I was hired.
