That was every FAI trip in the 220 package this month.

And an embedded redeye followed by a 24 hr layover is very different than one followed by a 12 hr layover. I personally prefer them to a redeye finish since I get more rest at a company hotel vs commuting home.

One of the worst rotations Iíve ever operated in my career was as follows (times are local):
Day 1/2: Depart JFK 23:00, arrive LAX 02:00
Day sleep
Day 2/3: LAX 2200 - FLL 0600
Day sleep
Day 3: FLL 2000 - JFK 2200
Day 3/4: JFK 2359 - Barbados 0500
Day sleep
Day 4: Barbados 1900 - JFK 2359
I commuted back to Atlanta and then slept for almost 20 hrs straight. Not much relevance here, but one kick in the nuts worth remembering.

Was that recent?
Also, to me, at least itís all night flying. Some of the circadian flips I see on 4-5 day trips are ridiculous. Those hurt me worse.

Was this originally constructed this way or was it a broken trip with reroutes?

WAAAAAAAAH

I came from the same regional and also had a seat lock on a non-ideal airplane for more than the minimum. Youíll be fine.

Does Delta do a lot of redeye flights to the islands? I thought that was a JetBlue thing.

Yeah I've seen/done both of those. But I haven't seen a redeye from NYC to the islands before.

That trip doesn't look like anything I've seen at Delta. But it does look like a trip a friend does on the 320 at JetBlue.

Grenada used to be a red-eye. Signed in around 00:30 and landed in GND around 7 am. Slept all day on the beach and left about 7pm that night to go back to JFK. Weird that you could always pick that trip up in open time. 🤔🤣
