With the up and coming displacements ATL 88 might be the way to go. Complete freedom in as little as 6 months, 9-18 months once you consider it will probably be a 365 AE. So maybe not

I am surprised they are still putting new hires on the 88. I don't think as many guys are leaving the 88 as they thought, most are waiting on the mandatory displacements. So doesn't that mean the new hires will be displaced first?

Looking at the last bid, I think some specifically bid over to it just for the displacement option. Displacing to ATL320A comes to mind with that strategy.

I’d warn anyone who has been here longer than 2 years to stay away from the Mad Dog. It’s just way too difficult to learn. The flows are too long. Just let those of us that have had the privilege of flying it get MD’d in peace while they throw new hires that want ATL on the bottom of the pile.

That makes sense for the folks that wanted to be ATL based but were forced up to NYC when hiring started again at the end of 2018.
