DL 425 engine failure just now
 
Just got pinged by a buddy (pax) on DL 425 out of JFK to SFO; they had to divert to CMH due to a left engine failure. Firefighters on the aircraft but no injuries reported.

Just wait for the cable news hysteria to begin...

We have a couple engine failures per year. It happens.
