The key is that a trip is approximately 55 minutes of work. So an hour of work pays more. XXX amount of trips per month is less than XXX hours.

In your example, copied here you use 105 Trips as your example:

"Ask an SWA pilot what they earn for 12 days of work? Spoiler alert, about 105 hrs of pay"So dividing 105 tfp by 1.13 you get about 92 hours of pay.

The whole TFP issue is very confusing depending on which conversion you are doing but one thing is absolutely clear - We at DAL domestically can get no where near 92 hours in 12 days.

Thanks for that explanation Scoop. He gets paid about 105 hrs for his 12 days of work. Former Air Tran commutes to HOU.

74% No here. This forum is by far the most management friendly. The poll was a trial balloon for lower and the truth is out.

The handful of yes are the tiny little Curly club.
Seriously, you think the Delta pilots are that dumb? Its basically the same group of about 3500 guys....GMAB

He is just using the TRUMP method, say it over and over until people finally believe it...

I wouldn't say this Forum is management friendly at all. The two Delta moderators were both "No" votes on the last TA.

This poll is probably not indicative of anything. If you want to see the DAL Pilot only results go to Chit Chat, but that poll will suffer from an extreme selection bias.

The Chit Chat poll is running about 92-8 against. But about the only thing that poll is good for is to compare it to the Chit Chat poll during the TA. If I recall correctly that poll ran about 98-2 against.

I think you should leave it. I agree that the fact OAL pilots could participate skews it, but OAL pilots can participate in all of our discussions anyway. I can think of at least one Horizon pilot that practically lived here. There is really no way to validate that anyone is a Delta pilot, poll or no poll. It's a by-product of the anonymous/public format.

The other thing that's good about it, is that it shows how truly out of touch APC and CC are with the pilot group. The fact that APC is anonymous, and the "poll" less lopsided tells me that people are at least a little more comfortable that they might not get bullied when posting. There still aren't enough posters to be indicative of anything, and from what you're saying, it's difficult to filter out multiple user names. So the most revealing thing about it is that social media is dominated by those on the narrow "no" side of the bell-curve.

I would definitely agree with Scoop there. What Jerry means is that there still are a few unrepentant guys who disagree with him, that he hasn't bullied into submission yet.

IMO, Chit Chat is for haters, way too toxic for most. Same 50 guys dominating the divisive chat. It's the pulse of mostly anti ALPA, anti company anti.....well you get it. Spent all of 20 minutes on there. Do yourself a favor, don't bother

Go look at the 737 schedules for ATL. You will have your answers. Last I heard SW did not fly red eyes. I also heard that is going to change and not for the better.

It's interesting you say that since APC predicted the failure of the last TA.

Does your black polo shirt still fit? You know, the one you wore when you were pushing the POS TA with the help of 1,500,000 USD of our dues money?

Oh yeah, and we're out of touch
