Is a tenant of Trump Towers. I wonder if we've put too much hope in fixing the ME carrier mess through the new White House.

Also Hussein Sajwani got a shout out at Trump's NYE speech. He owns DAMAC, one of the largest development companies in Dubai which I would say is very interested in seeing Emirates expand.

I highly doubt President Trump will interfere with the ME3. I said it before and I'll say it again, he's in bed with the rich gulf Arabs. I do like Trump though and have faith in his Presidency.

Even if his policies (or lack of "America First") will decimate your career? Honest question, not trying to pick a partisan quarrel, but I find it fascinating.

I hope we're all wrong and that he does deny NAI and ME3. Nobody expects a handout, but we all want a level playing field. Good luck to us all.

Well, it's very hard to determine what Trump will do as he is very unpredictable. As far as the airline business is concerned, I'm not sure and highly doubt he will take any action against the ME3 or Norwegian for that matter. I think I read somewhere that Emirates is planning a flight from Athens to EWR. It's seems like no one is stopping them. In addition to the daily Milan- JFK service they already do. Will certainly be interesting to see what happens..

Trump is about to open a very large and very expensive golf course in Dubai. He built it in cooperation with DAMAC.

The ME3 growing and being successful means more $ in his pockets. I don't see us getting any love from him on this.

If this stands it will be the beginning of the end for much of our flying to Europe. They were apparently "invited" by Greece to fly the route.

Eventually somebody like Czech Republic right in the center of Europe will "invite" Emirates to fly to every major city in the U.S.

One route from Milan, now a second from Athens, we will turn around in a few years and they are going to be everywhere in Europe if we don't stop them now.

Amsterdam is already a Freeport with far better connections and geographic location then Prague.

Although I don't think Trump will do anything to stop the ME3 and not really sure what his position on NAI is, I will say that his positions can't be any worse then the Obama administration who approved NAI in the first place and gave the ME3 free reigns to expand wherever they want. I say this as a former Obama supporter that was very dissapointed with him on the lack of reform at the NMB and the lack or action when it came to protecting US aviation jobs.

The one thing about Trump you know for sure, is nothing is for sure.

Worst case on this issue is the Obama/Clinton states quo on this issue. It'll either be better or the same.
