Anone know of a hotel in the LAX area that offers a good crew rate for an overnight. Trying to Jumpseat to Hawaii and may get stuck in LAX for a night.

Try The Hacienda. Don't have the number handy, google it. I think it just went up, but somewhere around $60-65 a night. It's LA, everything is pricey.

Also, I heard the HoJo has a decent rate as well

Also you might want to try priceline.com! Usually get some good rates when you name your own price.

I third the Jacienda. I think it's 60 out the door. The rooms aren't much but they have regular, reliable, transportation to the airport. There is a Starbucks across the street and a good salad bar in the grocery store.

yeah, hacienda is a good idea. its about 3 miles south of the airport. there is a ralphs shopping center and a small strip of restaurants(subway, chinese, greek....) right across the street. I think they have a shuttle to and from the airport as well.

I stayed at the Hacienda before. I actually thought it was really nice. Alot better than we have over here in PHL sometimes. Good rate of about $65.

One of the last times I stayed there, I went into the room and heard something scratching around in the room. Very strange. I pulled back the curtain and a Pigeon was on the floor and the window was open.
I went back to the front desk and told the manager on duty the room was occupied. He assured me it wasn't. I told him about the Pigeon and he replied "What you're not a bird lover?" Everyones a comedian..
