Default Which airport for 12hr layover: LAX or SFO?

I'm coming home after a 90 day deployment in WestPac and I have aprox 12 hrs to kill (1830~0630). Which airport would you choose for quick/easy access to hotel and good chow. I'm not looking to party (I'll be in Manila the night prior), just a place to get a bite to eat and crash before moving on. Bonus pionts for a Marriott because I can use my reward points there. Thanks.

I like LAX cause you can take the shuttle down to the Manhattan Beach brewrey.

Manhattan Beach Brewing Company - Manhattan Beach, CA

Welcome home!

SFO- Courtyard Marriott SFO Airport - 3 miles from SFO, free shuttle (5am to midnite), free shuttle to BART (rapid transit) to get you to downtown SFO.

LAX - Airport Marriott, 1 mile from airport, free shuttle, 4 restaurants on premesis.

Both offer Government rate (subject to availibility).

The LAX is probably a nicer hotel, and if you don't plan on leaving the hotel (i.e. just want to eat/crash), then a good choice

If you want to get out and see a great city, then stay at the SFO Courtyard, take BART to the city, and have fun.

have fun.

Thanks fellas,
I went with LA since I plan on locking myself in the hotel. I don't want to get in trouble the day before I get home.

The Hacienda is a bit of dump, but it has A LOT of food options near by. There is a killer Mediterranean place in the strip mall across the street. Also a decent sports bar out the left of the hotel, and a grocery store right across the street.

Starbucks, Quizno's, Subway, El Pollo Loco, a Wraps place, Chipotle burritos if you're inclined.
